1) How many rooms / beds does your hotel have?
We have 347 Room / 601 Beds ((1 presidential suite + 21 Suite + 253 Twin bed room + 72 large bed room)

2) Which room(s) would you recommend for the wedding night or honeymoon and what is special about it?
SUPERIOR ROOM, LARGE BED or standard room side nile and pool view rooms (View free upgrade)

3) When has the hotel been built?
in 2003

4) If a couple would spend 7 nights and days during their honeymoon in your hotel -
a) which 2 - 5 touristic attractions / excursions in your surroundings would you recommend most?
Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Luxor Muesum, Memefication Museum, King nad queen valley

b) which clubs / festivals / parties / discotheques would you recommend most?
There are some in down town, but the hotel can organise a disco night...etc up on request

c) which weeks of the year usually have the lowest price because of low season?
summer time May, June, July and August

5) Can you tell us something about the options and capacities to have a wedding reception (and maybe the wedding dancing party as well) in your hotel and / or in another venue without hotel beds in your surroundings?
Hotel Sofitel Karnak is a large resort with a tent covering more than 300 pax, so it depends on the customer´s request ,we have many experiences organising wedding parties, different capacities,foreigners and resident customers

6) Is it possible to have a legal and / or ceremonial wedding at your property?
The hotel is in contact with the church, the priest can attend the hotel.

7) Can you tell us about prominent people who spent their honeymoon or had their wedding and / or wedding reception at your hotel?
Yes,but for the guest privacy we need to inform them and see there acceptance.

8) What else is special about your property?
We have a huge landscape overlooking the river nile and swimming pool which will be fantastic to make the wedding party also a fantastic tent if you are planning to make the party indoor, free upgrade for suite upon availability and VIP treatment
