How many rooms / beds does your hotel have?
10 Treetop suites and 6 Treetop Villas (2 bedrooms each)

Which room(s) would you recommend for the wedding night or honeymoon and what is special
about it?
All are special and similar with very romantic and private settings. Special for honeymooners are the private plunge pools high up in the Treetop canopy and the indoor-outdoor showers. Each suite has a private dining área, which for honeymooners is ideal, no need to dress up for dinner, it will be brought to you – candle lit dining in the privacy of your own suite. Spa treatments of your choice offered in the privacy of your suite too.

When has the hotel been built?
2001

If a couple would spend 7 nights and days during their honeymoon in your hotel -
a) which 2 - 5 touristic attractions / excursions in your surroundings would you recommend most?
Whale watching (boat based), dining in the Vineyard at Brammon, Elephant walks, Birds of Eden vist (largest aivaiery on earth), Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary visit, exceptional forest trails (mountain bike or walking) Beach walks, forest picnics.

b) which clubs / festivals / parties / disctheques would you recommend most?
Knysna Oyster Festival (July) Grahamstown Arts and Curtural Festival (largestr in S.Hemisphere – 2,500 performances in 11 days) Plett Easter Games. Night clubs : VIP’s in Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay is the St Tropez of South Africa.

c) which weeks of the year usually have the lowest price because of low season?
15 april to 15 September each year is low season and offers extremely attreactive rates (up to 40% off high season rates) Also its Whale watching season and festival time during this time of year.

Can you tell us something about the options and capacities to have a wedding reception
(and maybe the wedding dancing party as well) in your hotel?
Capacity of the hotel is 44 guests, next door we have The Country House (our other hotel) capacity 48 guests clsoe by capacity for another 30 in guests houses within 1km. We can accommodate a Reception of up to 70 guests.

Is it possible to have a legal and / or ceremonial wedding at your property?
Yes, we have a wedding Chapel on the property and we taek care of all the arrangements that are required for the ceremony, and legal matters.

Can you tell us about prominent people who spent their honeymoon or had their wedding
and / or wedding reception at your hotel?
We have had a number of prominent couples who have honeymooned with us. Probably the best known German guests was Heiner & Victoria Lauterbach on honeymoon

What else is special about your property?
Exceptional service from a wonderful and dedicated team, a very unique location, award winning architecture, its is a Green property, many activities on the estate, wonderful outdoor dining and bistro dining at Zinzi Restaurant, a member of Relais & Chateaux,
