Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa

Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa
Location
Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa is located five minutes walk from the center of Ubud, on two hectares of gently sloping land in the Campuhan River valley. Approximately 45 minutes drive from Bali’s international airport, the resort respectfully holds a Royal and highly spiritual situation between the Gunung Lebah temple, and ancient Holy springs.

History
The scripture known as the Markandya Purana teaches us the word Ubud originates from “Obut” (Medicine), because of the healing powers of the water which comes from the rivers at Campuhan. To mark this place of holy inspiration, over 400 years ago a temple was built and the surrounding land granted to the Royal family of the area. Tjokorda Raka, now the most senior member of the Ubud Royal family had a dream of opening a beautiful hotel in this special place, to share its rejuvenating qualities with visitors of other cultures. In 1996 his dream was realized.

Luxury/Design
Warwick Ibah is a prime example of classic and up-to-date Balinese hospitality and style. The exteriors of the complex reflect traditional Bali, under thatched roofs and stone walls carved with exuberant sculptures, making it the perfect place to discover Ubud’s spirit and culture.
Living spaces decorated with day beds in exotic wood, ceramics, and Javanese glass paintings. Large terraces with sofas, immense bathrooms and open air showers are just some of the luxury features.
All villas & suites have recently undergone an extensive interior refurbishment including beautiful new solid teak beds and desks, fresh new living room furniture, high-quality furnishings & fabrics, art, and décor in the colonial style of British designer Sally Clarke-Richardson.

Gastronomy
The Restaurant is Balinese style with comfortable furniture and spacious tables. The décor is elegant but not overstated, with ceiling fans and surrounding water features full of movement and colorful fish.
The menu presents a range of healthy modern International dishes as well popular Indonesian and classic Balinese cooking. A range of innovative and satisfying vegetarian items is also available, prepared by an internationally experienced and dedicated team in the kitchen.
A carefully selected wine list features mostly Australian wines with some quality wines from France, Italy, South Africa and Latin America.

Relaxation
Located in a traditional pavilion, ambient music and scent immediately become part of a therapy for your soul. At the Spa you will be prepared for a series of experiences to indulge your body and mind. Sekala Niskala, (the visible and the invisible) according to the Balinese expression, leads to a world of divine sensations.

Massage techniques using the essential oils of Ginger, Vetiver and Ylang-Ylang will make you profoundly relaxed. Royal Java with Rosemary, Cloves and Shenath warms the body. Serenity will calm stress and wash away your tensions, while Long Life with Green Tea will provide rejuvenation.

Between treatment rooms, curtains may be drawn to serve two.
